As a grand cultural event for international conventions and exhibitions, the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center was invited to participate in the event, with the theme of “cross-border integration, technological innovation and exhibition culture”, and a new chapter in the development of China's convention and exhibition industry.
On the evening of August 30th, representatives of Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center arrived at Hangzhou International Expo Center and participated in the welcome dinner hosted by the organizers of the China Exhibition Enterprises Club. During the banquet, the participants of the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center and the conference industry colleagues, industry association experts exchange information, promote and introduce the Nantong exhibition project.

Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the golden section of the Central Innovation Zone of Nantong. The surrounding supporting resources are abundant. In addition, the Hutong Railway Yangtze River Bridge in the Nantong area is about to open, and the geographical advantage of Tongjiang Tonghaitong Shanghai gradually emerges. Adjacent to Shanghai, the geographical position is superior, and the regional upgrades are provided, so that the guests on the scene are very optimistic about the future development prospects of Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center.

On the morning of August 31, the 2019 China Conference and Exhibition Industry High-level Development Forum and opening ceremony was held in Hangzhou International Expo Center.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. At the China Development and Exhibition Industry High-level Development Forum, the guests reviewed the development of China's exhibitions in the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and focused on the new methods and concepts of the exhibition industry in its advancement and development. The new concept, in-depth analysis of the status quo of the industry, carefully combing the industry context, clear judgment of industry trends, provides an important guarantee for the steady development of China's exhibition industry.

On the afternoon of the same day, the National Convention and Exhibition Industry International Standards Publicity Conference was officially held, and the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center was also actively participating. The National Standardization Technical Committee was established in April 2008 to actively promote the preparation of convention and exhibition industry standards. At present, it has issued 12 national standards covering multiple sections of the exhibition industry. How these standards work, how to evolve from abstract written words to specific industry guidance, is the core issue of this meeting.
